What is MPTC

MPTC stands for “Missional Preparatory Training Course”. It is a Missional Discipleship program which has various expositions mainly for Professionals and Business people.

It is a movement that God inspires the heart of students to understand His mission which has a ripple effect impacting every person they come in touch with, through the way they live (Missional Living) & the work they do (business/ any profession/ homemaking/ studies etc. - Missional Practice)

As the world evolves rapidly in trends such as Globalization and new work culture, the understanding of Missions also evolves...

Why MPTC?

01 "The Heart of God's Mission"

While REFORMATION started in 1517, one of the important impacts it did was to break the secular - Sacred divide and Laity Clergy divide. However, these divides have somehow subtly come up again and is now ruling the churches vehemently. It destroys God's mission in the Modern day world. Also, the basic doctrine of Reformation is also gone off and enemy has brought in new doctrines in churches that make believers to seek God for worldly things rather than seeking God for His Glory, which is the heart of God’s Missions.

We understand today's church is in need of REFORMATION which includes REVIVAL. With this VISION, MPTC works among believers to make them understand the heart of God and work towards them.

How

How MPTC Operates?

As MPTC is a Missional Discipleship course, the curriculum is designed to be interactive for the students to actively participate in it. Group discussions and personal pondering questions at every session are designed to make the students think and act accordingly.

The course has:
100 hrs. of total sessions
Operates after office hours / weekends
Runs over a period of 6 months (2 classes per week)
15 days Mission field trip to Bihar, GEMS campus and fields.
Any church believer from age 20 to 45 can enroll
On request, customized shorter seminars could be made available
Interdenominational

"GOD YOU REIGN" - At MPTC, we also offer Taster Seminars called "GOD YOU REIGN" for smaller groups in which the crux of MPTC course is explained, which can then lead the attendees to join a full MPTC course

Who are they?

MPTC is operated by GEMS - Gospel Echoing Mission Society, Bihar. Bro. D. Augustine Jebakumar, General Secretary of GEMS, with the inspiration from God had laid the road map and founded the course. With the God given great burden about today's church, he keeps encouraging many to join/start MPTC to Glorify God's name and build God's kingdom wherever they are placed. He sows the vision about this course wherever God takes him on ministry..

Bro. Isaac Jeyakumar, Sr. Missionary - GEMS, had built the Material for this course in a very effective manner which enables students to see and glorify God. He had also trained Men into leaders who would take up the course into several places and built the Methodology for it to grow as a movement from the founder's road map.

MPTC Resource team comprises of facilitators who operate from Chennai and 17 other different cities, where the course currently runs. They work towards building MPTC to new heights by establishing MPTC @ Every State & Every SAARC country The team of facilitators have a great burden from God about His church and on the believers understanding of God and His mission. With this, they contagiously work with churches, prayer groups and individuals to pass on the right understanding about God and His mission. The team works between GEMS and churches in a model that breaks Secular - Sacred divide i.e they do their secular job as mission for full time as well as work in sacred world doing it as mission for full time. By the grace of God, all of the MPTC teams operating out of 17 different cities are running in the same model.
